George H. Brown is a full-time professional mediator. He mediates a broad range of disputes, focusing on complex commercial, medical malpractice, multiparty, and employment matters. He is a former Circuit Court Judge and Supreme Court Justice for the State of Tennessee. As a Circuit Court Judge, he earned a reputation as an effective and skillful pre-trial settlement judge and informally mediated numerous disputes. He also served on the Tennessee Supreme Court ADR Committee (1996-2002), Tennessee Supreme Court Dispute Resolution Commission (1992), Commission on ADR (1996), and was the recipient of the Outstanding Jurist Award (1995).
Since his retirement from the bench in 2005, he has professionally mediated a wide range of disputes and is an approved Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 mediator.
