Mike is the Managing Director of United States Arbitration and Mediation Midwest, Inc. which is the largest ADR provider in Missouri.
Mike's mediation experience consists of over 2400 mediations, including general civil litigation, wrongful death, products liability, environmental law, serious personal injury (involving numerous multi-million dollar settlements), professional malpractice, clergy abuse, FELA, automobile torts, construction law, premises liability, police brutality, wrongful discharge, discrimination (racial, sex, age and ADA), workersÂ’ compensation, farm foreclosure, commercial and business disputes involving multinational organizations and their franchisees, class actions and disputes involving multi-cultural conflicts. He serves as a qualified neutral for the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Missouri and is a frequent guest speaker at training seminars for attorneys, judges and other professionals interested in ADR. He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois, and before the federal bench in both jurisdictions.

Background
Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Geigerman was Associate General Counsel for Illinois Federal Savings & Loan. Between 1973, and 1986 he was engaged in the general practice of law in St. Louis, Missouri. From 1986 to 1998 he continued his law practice while serving as mediator. Since 1998 he has concentrated his efforts in ADR as a full time mediator with USA&M Midwest Inc. He has substantial experience in all phases of personal injury litigation, as well as commercial and business law. He has served as a legal editor for the Journal of Irreproducible Results. He has written numerous articles on mediation, hosted a weekly radio show "Law Talk"; and was the editor of an ADR column entitled "The Other Side of the Mountain", which appeared monthly in the St. Louis Lawyer. He is co-editor for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section for the Missouri Bar Courts and CLE Bulletin. Mr. Geigerman is also an Adjunct Professor at Washington University School of Law.
