Dear Fellow Mediator,
I’m writing to you because of your commitment to the mediation profession and devotion to IAM. Over the years we have had the privilege of helping individuals and institutions during deeply trying times; we have been present during intimate and momentous events.
We have also been blessed to be part of this wonderful cohort of brothers and sisters who are among the best of the best. We have benefitted from each other’s company, wisdom and experience and have all been made better by it. The picture above shows Judith and me at Versailles, after our Paris conference in 2013. That trip was made possible in large part because of many of you and your participation. Each of you has made a difference. You have changed lives, and I would like to think that IAM has contributed to your assets. Now I would like to ask you to engage in the reciprocity that in so many ways has made us individually and collectively stronger. After all, such mutuality and reciprocity are values we all espouse because we know their inherent virtues firsthand; we know how they nurture.
Please consider being part of a more lasting impact on the life of IAM and what it represents by including IAM in your current and future estate planning and giving; to have an impact and lasting effect, even after our careers as neutrals have passed on to the next generation. Whether you give now or in the future through one of the ways
described in the enclosed materials, your gift will make a difference. It will be used to better and strengthen the important work we all have in common.
If you are able to include IAM in your plans, or if you already have, please take a moment to complete the enclosed form and send it back in the envelope provided. We will respond in short order. If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Renee Levine, Executive Director, who will be happy to help. Renee can be reached a 416-494-1440 x227 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope you can see yourself as part of the future of peace-making as a member of the IAM Legacy Society.
