Ruth Glick is a full time neutral mediator and arbitrator with extensive experience in the commercial, financial, employment, health care, technology and real estate sectors. Background
Ruth Glick combines her unique business, education and law background to provide pragmatic skills to facilitate settlements. Her former careers as currency and financial instruments trader on the International Monetary Market of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, vice president of a currency arbitrage firm, and host of a daily financial television program developed her strong business acumen. She was adjunct professor of Arbitration and ADR Law at University of California, Hastings College of the Law for 10 years. She has authored book chapters, law review and other articles on ADR topics as well as made many presentations to legal and professional organizations. She is a former president of The Mediation Society, the California Dispute Resolution Council and currently serves on the Council of the ABA Dispute Resolution Section.
Education/Training
Ms. Glick earned a B.A. degree from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL and a law degree at University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She was trained as a mediator for legal disputes at Harvard Law School and received additional training at Pepperdine University. She on the faculty for the ABA Advanced Mediator Trainings.
