Tim's professional career as a litigator and Alternative Dispute Resolution Specialist spans nearly 30 years. As a lawyer, Tim handled civil, personal injury, medical malpractice, police misconduct, insurance issues and some criminal and family law cases. Tim also taught the art of Trial Practice at the law school level and served as a judge Pro Tempore for local courts during the first 20 years of his career.
Tim has been designated as a Top 50 Neutral in the State of California in 2009 by the Los Angeles Daily Journal. In November, 2009 Tim was recognized as a "Legal Eagle" in the Best Lawyers edition of the Inland Empire Magazine. He has also been recognized as a "Super Lawyer" in the Corporate Counsel edition of Los Angeles Magazine as well as a "Super Lawyer" in the ADR section.
Twenty years ago Tim began arbitrating cases for many Southern California courts and since that time he has helped resolve more than 5000 cases.
Tim is a full-time mediator handling a wide variety of cases including disputes over money, ideas, human rights, ownership of property and community issues.
Over the years Tim has been a member of many professional legal organizations including the State Bar of California, The American Bar Association, Southern California Defense Counsel, The Consumer Attorneys of California and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
Tim is now active with the State Bar of California, the ABA Dispute Resolution Section, The American College of Civil Trial Mediators, The California Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, The Southern California Mediation Association as well as IAM.
In addition to Redlands Arbitration and Mediation Services, Tim is also associated with Judicate West and Resolute Systems.
Tim is married and has four children. His wife Linda is a certified financial planner. He and Linda are both Ironman Triathletes.
