Downtown & Waterfront

A FREE WALKING TOUR that combines history, street art, architecture and much more.

Take a stroll through the Downtown Financial District & Vancouver’s breathtaking waterfront with a Tour Guy. Our stories are focused on what makes Vancouver a unique place, and all types of interesting/funny/quirky facts & tales from our city’s past.

On this 90 minute easy-walking tour we give a complete overview of downtown Vancouver and venture into some of the city’s historic buildings. Starting near the Vancouver Art Gallery, this tour explores Vancouver’s oldest church, visits one of the most famous skyscrapers, discusses our public art, street food scene and much, much more!

Our unique style of combining history with pure entertainment, stories & jokes has made us one of the most popular walking tour companies in Canada!

Tours start at 11am and last approximately 90 minutes

Where to meet:  Tours meet outside of the glass atrium entrance to the Pacfic Centre Mall, located at 701 W Georgia Street at Howe St. (North-East corner of Howe & Georgia, the "glass igloo" looking entrance). Click here for a map.

Where it ends: This tour ends at the Olympic Cauldron on Canada Place Way. Click here for a map.

Cost:  FREE! There is no charge for the tour itself, but your guides work very hard for tips. Because you choose what you pay, you are guaranteed you’ll have a GREAT tour!

It's different for everyone. It's different each time.  And it's yours to re-discover.
